Personal Surf Lessons are based out of Santa Monica.
However, depending on swell (waves) size, tides, wind, and students ability we take our students to other locations.

SURFING IS MY PASSION
Since 2004, I’ve taught hundreds of people around the world to catch waves. From beginners catching their first roller, to intermediates perfecting their turns, seeing their faces light up when they finally catch their perfect wave is AWESOME.
I'm discreet, enthusiastic and professional - you are guaranteed a fun and exciting surf lesson. I borrow techniques from my vast experience in the fitness industry as an instructor and personal trainer to help my students learn quickly and SAFELY.
My students range from 4 years old to the young-at-heart with skill levels from absolute beginners to intermediate surfers looking to improve.
I have taught people from all walks of life…Los Angeles locals, high-profile executives, celebrities and visitors from all over the world.
My promise to you is I will show you why surfing is so fun and addicting. Unlike many sports, you don't have to be a pro to experience the zone when surfing. The feeling is truly indescribable,​ I'd love to share it with you!
Instructor
I grew up in and around San Diego. I spent a lot of time in the ocean: sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Surfing is now how I spend most of my free time. I spent several years in Mexico teaching kids with a nonprofit program and I discovered that I enjoy teaching. Surfing is my favorite subject and I’m excited to help anyone accomplish learning how.

I started surfing about 15 years ago in San Diego. My older brother gave me my first lesson, which I felt was a disaster, but I had so much fun I decided to pursue it. About 8 years ago I decided to take it more seriously and devoted countless hours to surfing. I’ve been teaching both surfing and SUP full time for a handful of years now, and I truly believe that if you “choose a job you love, you will never work a day in your life”.
